Fletcher Hotel Amsterdam, Amsterdam

My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms weren't as spectacular as depicted online, and dealing with the high temperatures during summer was a real challenge. On the bright side, the rain shower in the room was a unique touch. The service was a letdown with stained floors and slow staff, and paying for parking far from town didn't help. However, the location was excellent, just a short walk from the metro to Amsterdam center. Dining was pricey and disappointing, but the nearby fast-food options saved the day.

The hotel rooms felt like a work of art with bold artistic decisions, though smaller than anticipated, they were comfortably designed. The view included interesting-shaped Burger King and KFC stores across the highway and the Atra College campus. There is room for improvement in dusting during cleaning.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms had a unique design and were gorgeous, but the thin glass wall separating the toilet was a bit odd. The service, while initially challenging due to an issue with the room, eventually became friendly and understanding. The location, although not ideal for accessing the city center, offered some protection from the cold wind. The dining experience was excellent but came with a hefty price tag. Overall, a place with charm but with some room for improvement.

The hotel offers beautiful and modern rooms with comfy beds and convenient cheap parking right in front. The view of the interestingly shaped Burger King and KFC stores across the highway, as well as the Atra College campus, is fabulous. The service, although a little standoffish, was the most helpful we encountered, but there were minor delays. The location, albeit a bit far from the nearest metro station, provides unique and wonderful views from each room, despite occasional water outages in the shower. The dining experience was above average, with a fantastic variety of freshly made food and drink available.

The hotel rooms are well designed and beautiful, with all the amenities I could need, but it could improve by providing towels in a heart shape. The service was very pleasant and helpful, making my stay enjoyable. The location was slightly awkward at first but turned out fine, offering safety and convenient access to the metro. The dining experience was a little disappointing and overpriced, with limited options. Overall, a lovely stay with room for improvement in some areas.
